Worked on an Automated Passport Control Kiosk, and its supporting backend services. These kiosks used a wide range of devices, including 3m identification document scanners, crossmatch fingerprint scanners, FLIR thermal camera, thermal printers, customized lighting controllers, ADA Keypad, and 3M Touchscreens. The application interface was WPF and localized into 14 separate languages. The data was captured, recorded, transmitted, and responded to in roughly less than one minute per traveler. The system was designed to be fault tolerant, self-monitoring, and able to auto recover from network loss, power loss, application freeze, or system crash. Also served as a member of the onsite deliver and implementation team.

Worked on or in support of their Crane Data System (CDS), a product written in C#, ASP.net, MVC, and nHibernate, with JQuery, and some HTML5 canvas elements. The second component of CDS was the custom built onboard system that relayed data from the cranes to our servers. This was done by interfacing via an OPC to the cranes PLCs, performing onboard extraction, transformation, and loading of crane data into a temporary SQL CE database. This data was converted to a customized compressed format, and transmitted via cell modem to the CDS servers for further transformation and storage. Also, worked on additional projects utilizing monotouch for iOS development and PHP on NGINX server.

Designed and built a debt protection management system and online signup system, while supporting a previous asp classic system. During transitioning between systems created a service that would allow for a shared session state between the two systems. Created a network backup system that kept production and development environments in sync and created backups on the local network and at a secure offsite location. Created data conversion utilities, as well as automated the importing and exporting of data with multiple different financial institutions.
